It had been a week or so since Dinah had practiced TK-water-bending, and not practicing with Azula any more meant she was going to have to figure this stuff out on her own, now. So Dinah was pool-side, feet dangling in the water, carefully making water-shapes: whips, funnels, and then the waterfall sheaf. A swimming workout would happen after she got the hang of that last one perfectly.

Savannah got to the gym early to set things up for try-outs. She had mats and tables pulled out, with refreshments available for both the current cheerleaders and those trying out.

There was a table arranged with clipboards for the squad members to write notes as they watched the hopefuls try-out. There was also a portable stereo for those routines that were choreographed to music.

It was time for try-outs for the Fandom High Gremlins!

[[OOC: This was going to go up yesterday but some of us had power and connection issues due to the Snowpocalypse. Please wait for the OCD is a go!!]]

A month here, and Menolly still wasn't completely used to the idea of no Thread at all.  Going outside without checking for the flag or watching the clouds still seemed completely foreign.

Today though, she wasn't thinking about that at all as she watched her fire lizards play in the snow outside the dorms.  The sun was shining and the snow blanketed the grass smoothly until Rocky had pushed Diver into the thick white stuff.  There was a squeak of alarm and then all nine brightly-colored creatures were tumbling through it, burrowing to make little caves and erupting again through the powder.

Menolly was laughing as she stood to the side, but it was only a matter of time before she joined in.

[OOC:  Open!  I am bored and have no snow.  :(  ]

Arthur had handwavily sent out notice to all the leaders of the various reserves to meet here during the afternoon. He'd gotten JGoB's to dump some sandwiches and their ilk in the common room, and he fully expected Zack to come and cater to those gathered with his nearly unending reserve of cookies.

They had more important things to do than just have tea, after all.

"Thank you all for coming," he started, once everyone had arrived. "This meeting has been a long time coming. The reserves have grown across the board. It is, hence, of great importance that we coordinate our efforts, especially now that Fandom has seen fit to bless us with another invasion recently. I suggest we discuss how that was handled, what we can do better in the future, and how to spread our efforts out across the reserves themselves."

Pause.

"Also, feel free to partake of the food."

He had to be a good host, after all.

[[ open for the reserve team leaders! ... plus one OCD for anyone milling about who isn't. a reserve team leader, that is. ]]

Karla didn't know there was anything important going on today with the teevee. Considering their school didn't have sports, the idea of football was foreign to her. Instead, she was puttering in the kitchen, wishing someone who could cook would magically arrive, preferably with dinner, and pretty much bored.

Also frowning at the remote and wishing it didn't have quite so many buttons.

[Open like a common room and happy to be home from a convention meeting in another state. Come play!!!]
