First Floor Lobby, Friday after classes

Early in the afternoon, Morgana came downstairs and stuck a note up for anyone looking for the Support Services meeting:

Support Services is
cancelled this week
due to the start of
Spring Break!

There was a plate of cookies beneath the note, as that seemed like a requisite gesture after all this time. With that done, Morgana went back upstairs to attempt to finish packing. She was going to end up wearing the same clothes every day at the rate she was going.

The Roof [Friday, Early Afternoon]

Classes for the week all well over, and Effy not really being the sort to go for unnecessary work, especially with half term (spring break, whatever) coming up, was out getting her unwinding kicked off a little early.

Might be cold, but it was at least pretty and sunshiney and cold, and Effy was lost in thought and idly picking petals off her now wilting Valentine's day flowers, dropping them off the roof and watching them float down and away in the light breeze. Everyone relaxed in different ways, and Effy always had been... unconventional, to say the least.

This time in a couple days she'd be in the fucking Bahamas. That was a pretty good thing to be musing on, wasn't it? Especially since it was bloody freezing right here, right now.

The Gym, Friday Morning

Last chance to dance before spring break. (Please, as if Kate would do anything even remotely useful on a Saturday.)

She'd gotten there early, and started with her routine barre exercises. By now, she was trying to improvise something of a choreography to the music that was playing. It gave her mind something to work on. She'd been thinking in circles too much, lately, and it felt good to concentrate on something like this.

And because she wouldn't mind interruptions, she'd also left a little purple post-it note in the shape of a heart on the door to room 324. It simply said At the dance studio. It would be enough for anyone who wanted to find her.

Second Floor Common Room, Friday Night

Karla figured that she really out to try watching these Olympics things, now that she had a reason to care what was happening. She should probably figure out what 'curling' was, for example. Same thing for the 'luge.'

When she turned on the teevee, her attention was immediately grabbed by the ice dancing. Between this and hockey, Karla decided she could really get behind the Olympics. They kind of reminded her of home.
