StuCo Holiday Decorating Party, Dorm Lobby, Sunday Midday

Whatever its oddities, Fandom knew how to celebrate something, Quinn thought with satisfaction as she looked over the boxes and parcels of holiday decporations that had been purchased or hauled out of storage. In addition to the large fir tree in one corner, there was popcorn to string, garlands of beads and other odd-shaped shiny things, a multiethnic army of decorative Santas, what looked like a few miles of twinkling lights in all colors, containers of artificial snow, and enough stockings to keep a small army of elves busy. There was also plenty of greenery -- mistletoe, holly, poinsettias and evergreen -- potted or kept in water to keep them alive and looking fresh.

It was time to deck the halls and get merry.

Dorms Gym - Saturday Night

A bored Jack McCallister was not a happy Jack McCallister. Thankfully, he was good at keeping himself busy. He hadn't had any Saturday night plans (as usual lately) so when the crawl on his skin that came with restlessness appeared, he made a snap decision to do something. Jack bounced the basketball against the court floor a few times before shooting the ball at the hoop. It hit the backboard and the ring before falling through the net.

Yep, shooting hoops on a Saturday night. How exciting. As Jack retrieved the ball, he silently acknowledged that he really needed to make more local friends.

With who-knows-what going on outside, Peter settled into a couch with a large plate of microwaved pizza bagels. He didn't know what was going on, he didn't want to know what was going on. It'd just hurt his brain and he didn't want that, not at all.

So, TV. He flipped on to some show where three British guys talked about cars. That he could understand just fine. Understand and enjoy, too.
