Annie was multitasking. Baby Isabella had stopped with that random screaming thing she'd been doing earlier and progressed to full-on crying, which Annie couldn't stop her from doing. She'd heard of certain things that might help, though, so after leaving her laundry to finish washing earlier, she brought Isabella down, intending to put her on top of the dryer and let it rock her to sleep or whatever.

This would have been a better idea if only the washer had washed anything at all. In fact, when she tried to take her stuff out, a bunch of things seemed to be stuck around the turny thingie inside the machine like it was purposely keeping her clothes from her.

So now there was a frustrated Annie with undone laundry and a crying droid baby. Have fun with that.

[Open, pending LJ cooperation! Some SP at work, yadda yadda.]

Sam spread a tarp across the floor, then checked the squirt guns. Once that was done, she went over, opened up a five gallon bucket, and took a deep whiff.

"Oh gravy. I love so."

Yes, iCarly this week was going to involve gravy and squirt guns. While the laundry machines were refusing to work.

No one had ever accused Sam of thinking ahead.

[ooc: open! Those who wander in might be recruited to appear in the webshow. iCarly officially wavers any responsibility for any cleaning bills resulting from Sam's bucket o' gravy. Side effects may include large stains and hilarity. Use only as directed. See store for details. Offer expires eventually.]

"No, really," Marshall said, balancing his phone between ear and shoulder as he measured sugar into his mixing bowl. "I'm baking. Like, the common room on each floor has pretty much a full kitchen, it's totally cool."

"I didn't mean that," Corrine said, on the other end of the call. "I was surprised that you're baking, not that there's a place at your school you can do it. Since when do you bake?"

His timer dinged; Marshall turned around and pulled a pan of orange-flavoured cupcakes. "Well, I mean, it's just applied chemistry," he pointed out. "Besides, it's not that hard to follow a recipe. Just like doing a lab, y'know? Anyway, I should go, I don't want to be distracted while I'm making the ganache. Tell Vaughn and Z that I said hi, okay?"

"Sure. ... What's a ganache?"

Marshall laughed. "Goodbye, Corrine. If Lucas asks, yes, I'll be online later tonight."

[Totally open and distractible. There are tasty things! Come and get some.]
