Anders stakes out the TV section of the common room and turns on ESPN Classic. He's overjoyed to discover that they're currently running Game 1 of the 1988 World Series, and he's just in time for it to get exciting. Bottom of the sixth with one out: it's Oakland 4, L.A. 2, with Marshall at second and Shelby at first, Scioscia at the plate.

He parks himself in front of the TV and starts doing crunches while he watches. By the time Kirk Gibson comes on to pinch-hit in the bottom of the ninth, he's completely forgotten the crunches. And when Gibson hits Eckersley's pitch into the Dodger Stadium bleachers, he's practically doing backflips with excitement.

It's not that he has any idea who these people are, or cares one way or another about any of the teams. He's just discovered that he really, really likes baseball.

Bridge is running down the hall, attempting to catch the little green ball of light that is currently ricocheting off the walls.

Sam had spread the contents of her toolbox out on top of a towel on her bed and was cleaning the tools and reorganizing the box as she put things away. She intended to do a good job as shop TA, and even though it looked like it wouldn't be a conventional shop class, she wanted to be prepared.

Plus, this way the tools would be ready on Thursday when she wanted to work on the Harley. And...yeah, she should probably ask Mac if it was okay to keep it in the shop over the winter, or she was going to have to invest in some fingerless gloves.

Talking with Janet and Elizabeth this afternoon had definitely helped--she was no longer nearly as hysterical or hopeless about the future John Connor had foretold. She had her friends, and her brain still worked. Somehow, she'd make sure it didn't happen here. Now she had an idea of what to look for, as well.

Also, with her friends' support, she didn't feel nearly as much like a circus show attraction as she had when John had stood there, laughing at her. But maybe that was just her bruised ego healing.

Sawyer is hunched over a book in the common room. It's about bunnies.

[[OOC: Not having a very good night, entertain me?]]

After a very...interesting...JA meeting, Beka and Bel wanted somewhere private to talk. Upon discussion, Bel shimmered them to the door of South Attic. Her stomach twisted and she felt a bit green, but all in all, it wasn't too much worse than her first slipstream. In time she might get used to it.

Beka keyed the wards and let them in. Not seeing her roommates, but not wanting to be disturbed, she led him into her bedroom and shut the door.

Up on the roof

Michael leads Ms. Parker out of the lounge before Quinn has time to voice a protest. He smiles at her, "Didn't think you'd mind me rescuing you. Let's go somewhere out of the way where we can talk without being disturbed - maybe up on the roof?

After the JA meeting Angelus went back to his room. He shrugged off his coat, unbuttoned a few more buttons from the top of his shirt, then settled down on his bed to get comfortable.

His notebook was in his lap. He wrote in it, frowning intently. After a while he sat up, leaned over to rummage in a desk drawer, and pulled out a pair of glasses.

He flicked the glasses open, put them on, then sat back against his pillows to resume working.

His frown turned into a smile, as though change of accessories had in any way made a difference to his efforts.

The door was closed, but obviously his roommate or, alternatively, someone Angelus gave a rat's ass about could interrupt him.

(locked to Logan and Angelus, and Xander if he's around tonight)

Rory wanders in, a copy of Pride and Prejudice under her arm and her cell phone in her hand.

She exhaustedly flops on the couch, and turns on the TV.

"Ooh. Roman Holiday is on."
