In between his classes this morning, Anders can be seen scurrying constantly back and forth between his room and the dorm lobby, frequently loaded down with bulky packages from the US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, and DHL. Every now and then, the pattern is broken, and he might be spotted with boxes of baked goods, or wrapping paper and tape.
He's discovered the intrigue of online shopping, as well as the joy of priority and overnight delivery just to make sure everything gets in before people leave for the break. For someone who had no concept of Christmas whatsoever until just this month, he's certainly throwing himself into the holiday with abandon. Maybe part of it is due to his lingering guilt over what happened to Kara, as he's definitely made a large dent already in the up-front percentage he received of his CPL signing bonus. But mostly, he just feels like doing something nice for the friends he's made here so far. You don't survive abnormal psychology, detention, carnivorous plants, and the Christmas pageant without appreciating the people who went through it with you, after all.
On one of these ferrying trips, he picks up three small packages and grins as he notices the company names on their return addresses. Eyeing the smallest one, he gulps and wonders if it was a good idea, then pushes the thought away and tucks the package into his pocket. Once he's there, he sets himself up in the middle of the floor and tackles the daunting task of giftwrapping.
The door is ajar, though mostly closed so as to keep everything as much a surprise as possible; anyone who wants to is welcome to stop in. There are plenty of cookies and cupcakes, too, for anyone who didn't specifically get a gift.
[OOC: Will be slowplayed a bit, but if you've got a present, I'll get it to you at some point if not here.]( OOC: The following people have presents from Anders )
