A bakery box full of chocolate croissants, chocolate chip scones, and napoleons.

And a note:

Aeryn, Elizabeth, Janet, and Marty:

Happy Valentine's Day!

Sam

Sam was laying on her back on one of the sofas, pretending to study and finish her homework, but really watching bad daytime television.

ETA: Sam has now left, but the television was left on and the book she'd been reading was face down on one of the end tables.

[ooc: Feel free to use for your own homework or loafing.]

Pippi is lounging on the couch, the TV is on to the Hitler History Channel and she's going through a math book.

There's a test at some point to be taken, one assumes that it will be on stuff covered by the book.

She's looking at the book like it has eyes on stalks.

There is a bright blue strip of cloth, possibly a bandage, wrapped around her right forearm. It covers everything from her wrist to her elbow.

[[ooc: open, but will need to slow play after 12:30 PM Pacific for a while.

Walter is putting up signs for All and Sundries. Again.

Text reads:

You haven't
mucked it up YET

All and Sundries
For all your sundriest
Valentine's needs

Sometime between third period and lunch a large bear appears outside the door to the room.

There is a tag around its neck that reads "さくら."

Trying to ignore everyone coupling off all over the damn school, Sam turned on the Aaron Echolls film festival and prepared to lose herself in the movies. She had a large bowl of popcorn and bottle of diet coke and settled into one of the chairs.

Of course, she was immensely interruptable.

[ooc: For anyone without a significant other, abandoned by them, or protesting Valentine's Day in general.]
[identity profile] death-n-binky.livejournal.com
DEATH can be seen in his room, the door being open, wearing his standard and unadorned black robes, save a single purple condoms tied to his front and a beautiful tiara on top of his skull. He appears to be slowly packing his belongings, including his Fosse posters, a set of hair brushes and a black mug that reads "#1 Grandpa". The usual aura of colorful dread seems almost dreary, punctuated by bits of dreadful flourish. If DEATH possessed glands, one might say he was sad.

The DEATH of rats sits quietly in a corner, holding his scythe and watching the proceedings.

There are also a small collection of items for his friends that DEATH has assembled as going away gifts.

BLOODY WIZARDS. BLOODY AUDITORS. BLOODY HUMANS.

Pip sat on the couch and flipped through the movies he rented. Against the holiday, most of them weren't romances. Mostly it was standart blockbuster fair. The Grid, Ghoulbuster, The King of the Anklets.

He glanced at his watch and leaned back, waiting for Maia.

[[For Maia. Though I suppose anyone else can technically join them. It's not like he could actually stop them from watching movies with them.]]

Edward is sitting out on the roof, a cup of coffee close at hand and a notebook on his lap. The notebook is closed, and the pen is still tucked in the spiral. The sky's far more interesting than his notebook anyway.
