Greg, it should be noted, was neither emo nor pouty.

'Thoughtful' might be a good word to use, though, and on someone like Greg, it may have beared a passing resemblance to emo. Perhaps emo's second cousin, or the like.

In any case, he was there, poking gently at the hot embers with a stick and trying to keep the smoke from hitting him in the face.

[Open like an open thing that's open to people who want to visit the Stickbug campfire omg.]

Since Jamie had no workshops today? He decided the best thing he could do was hang out in the CR and see what it had to offer. Granted it was a smaller common room than the dorms but it had a comformtable couch and a coffee machine.

What else do you really need?

[ooc: Yes it's open to all... it *is* a common room.]

Tim stepped out onto the porch and down to the fire circle, a mug of hot chocolate in his hand. This was something he'd never done before, and he thought it might become a new morning ritual while he was here. It was pretty out here, he was starting to wish his mother had been able to afford to send him to summer camp before.

Grogily, and still dressed in yesterday's clothes, Seras made her way into the common room.

She was still trying to shake off that 'How in God's name did I manage to sleep for 12 hours?' feeling.

She hadn't even got to see who her roommates were. Bugger.

Ah well.

Her Arts and Crafts workshop didn't start until this afternoon, so she was at loose ends until then.

Open!

Sawyer was in an incrediable good mood this morning, with a cup of hot coffee in his hand and a cigarette in the other he took a seat by the campfire. It might have something to do with a certain girl.

Tim was walking along a path in the woods, when suddenly he stopped, eyes narrowed. He found himself thinking of the last time he'd been in a forest, and he wished he remembered what happened to his father.
But more than that, he was remembering how effortlessly his father had moved silently through the forest, while Tim and his friends stumbled loudly behind him.
Stepping just off the path into the treeline, Tim started to parralell the trail, attempting to move without making noise. As a result he wasn't going very fast.

After Elle's workshop - which was quite fun, by the way - he changed into some black sweats and a white tank before heading out behind Pangolin in that open space. He had looked up something on Tai Chi earlier on in the day and decided he'd better try to work out his anger issues using that.

So, he set up a mat on the ground and began his stretches.

[[ Open to anyone ! ]]

Gym, Afternoon

It occured to Pip that he had forgotten to work out yesterday. Very bad of him.

He's making it up today, though. After lifting some weights, he selected the full body bag and started hitting.

[[Come, let us baptize the new gym with our manly (and womanly) sweat! *does Louis Armstrong pose, complete with shojuo twinkles*]]

Jaye makes it all the way back to Seahorse without giggling about the Arts and Crafts Scrapbooking WS. Because come on, that's funny. And yes, she did actually leave the cabin for a while, despite anything she might have said yesterday. And no, she's probably not leaving again. Because the pretty is here.

[Open to Seawhorses (I swear to god that was an unintentional typo but I'll be damned if I correct it) and visitors.]
[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com
Peter was in the common room playing with what looked like a large metal bracelet with a flat bit that extended to his palm. He didn't get a chance last night to field test it, but he'd find some way to use it tonight. And it would be fun.

Until then, though, he was bored.

[OOC: Open. Especially to Stickbugs.]
[identity profile] dude-its-jude.livejournal.com
Jude wandered towards the main campfire, wanting to get away from the cabins a bit. He flopped down onto a log, looking uncharacteristically mopey for Jude. One might even say emo if his subculture was not clearly grunge/skater. He is accompanied by a slightly squished bag of non-special brownies and a stick, which he currently using to poke absently at the dirt in front of him, making little patterns and hills and holes.

[[Open, yo.]]

Edward sat himself down at the edge of the fire ring, eyeing the fire as he cautiously set a few books down. Hunting around for a little bit dug up a proper stick for marshmallow roasting, and opening a bag of large poofy marshmallows, Edward set some marshmallows to roasting.

Open for all your Puffin campfire needs!
[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com
Parker has a hammock set up, one corner tied to the doorframe, the other tied to a tree outside.

She is re-reading The Amethyst Flower and giggling.

And if she's comparing the prose to Anders'? That's probably a coincidence.

[open for interaction]
[identity profile] lovelylana.livejournal.com
Lana sat out by the campfire, warming her hands and just enjoying the night. She'd forgotten how much she enjoyed this. Sitting in the dark, by the fire, letting yourself think about all the things you needed to. Being peaceful.
[identity profile] notafairmaiden.livejournal.com
Gwynn was sitting at the campfire for the Squirrel cabin and was using a stick to both poke at the fire and draw symbols in the dirt around her. Her first workshop of the summer and her subsequent talk with Pip had given her a lot to think about.

Look how bright and inviting the campfire is.
[identity profile] anextimeagent.livejournal.com
Jack blamed it on the disturbingly fresh air and the presence of nature, but for some reason he was awake far too early, and filled with the urge to go for a run.

He pulled on a pair of tiny denim cut-offs, laced up his shoes, and headed out to enjoy the wonders of nature.

He returned thirty minutes later - panting, sweaty, and feeling vaguely sore but quite satisfied - and threw himself down on the grass outside his cabin.

[OOC: open for all, for anything you might need, but mun has to crash by about 11:00EST due to time-zones (it'll be 1 am down here), but all pings will be picked up (later) in the morning.]
