A handwavy morning's shopping in town and Jack had found everything he'd wanted.

The second floor common room's kitchen was now his. And he was cooking.

Enticing smells were wafting out into the hallway.

[If anyone is in the dorms, they are welcome to come and bug him, but they might be roped into helping]

It was too cold and too wet to even consider the beach as a viable option. Luckily the pool was the cleanest, sparkliest, shiniest pool Jack'd ever seen.

And given that everyone was still living in the cabins, he figured it was a fair bet that no one was going to want to use it anytime soon. To be on the safe side, he'd made a sign suggesting that going away would be a good idea, and that anyone who saw the sign and did so would be owed a favour by Jack Harkness. Redeemable at will.

It took several trips down from the second floor, but he was finally satisfied. There was food and wine and a picnic blanket, there were candles and plenty of them, there was - and he grinned at himself - a CD player playing a cheesy New Age CD of ocean sounds.

Only one thing was missing, so he headed down to the cabins to find her, hanging the sign on the door on his way out.

[ooc: yeah, locked to Jack and one other, but if your character has a reason to be wandering by and does see the sign, Jack will owe them a favour.]

After talking to Cameron, Aeryn needs to hit things. A lot. Therefore, gym.

After leaving the gym and handwave stopping by the library to do some cleaning, Rory settled onto a couch in the second floor common room with a stack of books she'd unearthed.

There were several old, fascinating books that she had found tucked away in a back corner in the old librarian's office, covered with a light layer of dust. So she sat still with a book on Celtic symbology open on her lap, carefully sounding out the words.

[Locked to people who know who they are, for the moment. open for CR socializing, as long as it's post Rory reading :)]

After shimmering his and Phoebe's belongings -- and the kittens as well -- back to the dorms, Bel wandered down to the fifth floor common room. He sprawled on the couch and turned on the TV, flipping through the channels until he landed on "The Raven 4: Evil Benediction." The movie was making him nostalgic for Angelus for some reason. While it was good to be "home" and have privacy again, the attic was decidedly unsocial and he couldn't wait until he and Phoebe could move to one of the lower floors.

Pip leaned back in his chair and puffed on his cigarette.

He had to admit, it felt good to be back in the dorms.

[[Locked to those that know who they are for the thing that they know about as soon as most of those who know who they are get here.]]

Lana was settled back into her dorm room, thanks to Bel shimmering her and her stuff back from the camp. She still wasn't feeling quite up to snuff, but she felt much better being back in her own room.

She stretched out on her bed to read a book, but left the door open in case anyone wanted to stop in.
