The weather is nice tonight and Ranma is glad for it. He spent some time online today handwavily looking up things about a little cat-hating companion. He would have to ask about the policy for getting a pet and were he could find one. He sighed heavily and hopped up into a tree. He hung both legs over the side as he sat on the lowest branch. He was feeling especially alone for the first time in a long time. He watched the wind lightly ruffle the leaves and the grass. And he really had no thoughts on how to cheer himself up. What a crappy day.

((Open, he's quite lonely and would love company...))

It was really a rather nice night; Sakurazaki would like to think that it was the moderate weather that drove her out onto the roof this late at night, but it was really just because she felt so restless inside. She wanted to go back and release her renewed energy with Yuunagi but, heaving a sigh, she knew that she couldn't. She spent much of her time sitting toward the edge, looking out over the view and the sky and just thinking about how nice they were to look at, but, every so often, she felt the need to get up, go through a few forms. Or prowl slightly along the edge, peering out, watching. She felt the need to watch for something, to try to pick up on any first signs of foul play or any incoming disturbences. But the night was still and silent and peaceful. Sakurazaki was torn; she wasn't sure if she was grateful for it or if she hated it.

Jaye slept in a little, because she's decided to be lazy today. Which is why her hair is still damp when she leaves her room. It's also why she decides it's not worth it to go alllll the way down to the second floor as she usually would, and camps out on the couch here instead. She does actually have to get up to get the remote, though, which means she shouldn't have to move again for the rest of the day.

Now she can just sit here and bemoan the fact that there are no good talk shows left on TV.

Sure, her arms were tired. Sure, her legs were sore and there was a pretty nasty kink in her neck. But Sakurazaki had a made a promise, and, besides, the only other thing she'd have to do on a Thursday was sit around, thinking about confronting things. And she couldn't have that. So she went down by the gun range, making sure none of the gunners were using the space, and pulled Yuunagi out of the weapons locker. She set immediately to work.

And, for good measure, she tried a few minor wind attacks against the far wall, to calculate what sort of damage they would do, to see exactly what sort of work would be needed before she could start using stronger ones. And so she'd be able to make it sound like she was doing something more than just training for hours.

Because she knew she'd be here all day.

[[swords area's open; interaction with my girl might be spotty; mostly establishing what she's doing for the day :) ]]

Gym, before workshops

After yesterday's clinic session, Cameron was feeling on top of things. He was working through his drills with enthusiasm, giving the punching bag a run for his money. You know, if punching bags actually ran or had money.

((Open! Thread between V and Cam locked omg.))

Every now and then, Nadia decides she wants to cook. This was one of those times, so instead of heading to the cafeteria for lunch, she handwavily headed to town for groceries and is now setting about making a stirfry.

For once, almost all the ingredients seem to make sense and go together.

There is rather a lot of hot sauce and peppers involved, though.

She bopped about the kitchen to the Postal Service, spatula in hand, as she stirred and fried away.

[ooc: come hang out, and if you're brave, try some of the stir fry. It's very tasty and might give you the temporary ability to breathe fire. . . .]

It was pretty quiet in here tonight, and that meant the kitchen was free. Therefore, Anders was making cupcakes while the TV ran some 80s TV show about high school kids who frequently broke into song.

Because what else do you do on your birthday but make cupcakes for other people to share?

Peter felt the need to actually get out of his room and be around people, so he marched himself down the hall to the common room. He turned the television to something random. It turned out to be something about people dancing. It was strangely hypnotic and he couldn't quite bring himself to turn it off.

He also couldn't quite explain why he made popcorn during the first commercial break.

[OOC: There's enough popcorn and kinda stupid television for all.]

Tim was lounging under a tree, a notepad on his lap and an Irish dictionary in hand, attempting to translate something.

very interuptable

Yay shiny sharp pointy things!

Buffy beamed and picked up a practice sword, swinging it around.

Okay, it wasn't sharp nor pointy, but it was still kind of shiny, Buffy decided. In the way that shiny means good.

She was waiting for Peter to show up to show her the wonderful words of swords, and then give her ice cream. She idly wondered what she'd get from the other Stickbugs in return for not killing them, or making them cheer.
