nadiathesaint: (argentine)
[personal profile] nadiathesaint
Nadia was up early, in her swim suit top and a pair of cut offs, sitting on the floor in front of the tv with her tubs of blue, white, and yellow paint.

Even if Argentina didn't win, the game was likely to be intense. She was really looking forward to it.

[ooc: appointment postponed, up for slowplay (or not so slow play) as I watch the game. go Argentina!]
nadiathesaint: (looking up)

It wasn't raining. Which was nice, though Nadia was still a bit wet after her shower to get rid of the cherry jello. She set herself up on the edge of the roof with her bag of brownies and lay down to stare up at the sky while she waited for Cally.

Okay, so her team didn't win and she got stepped on by a jello dragon. Still, things were looking up. They were starting to solve the ghost problem, and she had a delightful evening of stoned-ness ahead of her.

Fun times.

Getting purple jello stains out of a white blouse? Impossible. Getting it out of white skin? May as well be impossible. Face still slightly splashed with remnants of purple that no amount of scrubbing seemed to get rid of (who knew lack of pigmentation could stain so much?), Sakurazaki drifts down to the common room, looking extremely tired (mmmm, comfy PJs)...and strangely very whimsical. Happy. Her shoulders slump and her feet drag, but she can't seem to erradicate her smile. Even spending several hours down in the salle trying to clean off Yuunagi didn't phase this sudden (for lack of a better word) mellow. Neither did the fact that she was starving. Neither did the fact that her back was in a lot of pain. She wasn't even really bothered by the fact that everyone at the race had seen her wings (although she did secretly hope that they had mostly been too preoccupied to notice her darting around the sky like that).

Nope. Nothing. She sighs wistfully.

But there was still food to be had. Lots of food. Her stomach rumbles loudly as she reaches for a pan and her rice. She gives it a little snarl. //"You'd think all that jello would be enough food for one day..."//

Lana went straight back to her room after work. She'd intended to go to the go-kart races, but she felt there was something she needed to do first.

Once there she locked her door and closed her shades, not wanting any distractions from what she planned. She sat herself comfortably on her bed, trying to breathe deeply and relax as much as possible. Then she waited for Whitney.

Cut for length and angst )

There was silence in the room for a long time before Lana dared open her eyes again. When she did, Whitney was gone and something deep inside her knew he wouldn't be back. She let herself collapse then, crying tears of mixed loss and relief until she tired herself out and fell into the first real sleep she'd had since Sunday night.
