forgottenpants: (grrrrr)

Pete lead the way outside at a stalk, then adjusted his hat and raised his fists.

"Right then, let's settle this as men do."

[ooc: mostly for [livejournal.com profile] walter_n_wires, but open to people who wish to gawk.]

Lana couldn't lie in bed any longer and she was afraid if she got up and started buzzing around the room that she'd wake her roommate. So instead she went to the Common Room and busied herself cutting up a ton of fresh fruit that she'd brought and brewing up some coffee and tea for anyone who might be looking for some breakfast. She also set out a bunch of bagels and muffins she'd picked up.

And at least here if she was singing a bit while she worked she wouldn't be disturbing anyone.

[OOC: Come have some breakfast!]

It was too pretty a day to be inside, so Edward was taking advantage of the morning and the fact that his fitness class had done absolutely nothing in the exercise department yesterday. Clad in his sleeveless shirt and shorts that fully showed off his automail, he was doing stretches, basic katas and would occasionally throw off flurries of punches and kicks at the nearest tree.

The tree probably didn't appreciate Edward's enthusasium. Oh well, no one asked it.

[Open to anyone who wants to spar or bother the bean]

Having nothing better to do, Carmela was sprawled on a couch in the common room, channel surfing. Not so unusual.

What *was* unusual was the *way* she was doing it. The remote sat off to the side, untouched, and the TV was apparently changing channels on its own, every time Carmela said "No."

[ooc: a note about the Speech. It's in italics, and since it's the language of *everything*, your character will most likely hear whatever's being said as in their native language. If they listen especially carefully or have an ear for languages, they might be able to tell there's something unusual about it, though.]

Sakurazaki is being a very good and respectable sort of girl. She's out flying around the dorms and the grounds, literally, with many black garbage bags, cleaning up the mess that the unruly mob had created. Damn, there was a lot of toilet paper out here. A lot. It was chaos, utter chaos, so she didn't mind the work, setting about the task dilgently and letting her mind try to actually sort out the events.

What the hell was she thinking?

[[ my availability is teh suck until later tonight, but if anyone wants to help, she sure wouldn't mind too terrible. ]]

Very late Friday night - or very early Saturday morning, depending on your perspective - Jack made his way stealthily from the stairwell to the third floor common room.

The HAPPY PANTSLESS FRIDAY! sign was still stuck to the door.

He very carefully pulled it down and folded it neatly in half, smiling smugly, and made his way back to the stairwell.

Tub of buttery popcorn? Check.

All the light out except for the TV? Check.

The new releases of the original Space Battles movies on DVD? Check.

The speakers turned up loud enough to get the full effect of the revamped THX sound without waking anyone on the fifth floor? Check.

Hamlet smiled to himself and sprawled out on over one of the couches in the huge sixth floor common room as the movie started. Sometimes, it was nice to have a floor all to yourself.

[OOC: Open to anyone, but mostly just him relaxing. ^-^]
