After the movie that wasn't actually watched due to all of the talking going on (although Jim did notice that one actress looked kind of like someone he knew), Jim and Pam walked back to Platypus.

"So, what did you think of the movie?" he asked, feeling surprisingly not nervous.

Minotaur Campfire, Sunday Morning

Robin sat perched on a log near the fire circle, playing Rocket Man on his weetiny banjo. He didn't know all the words though so he was just playing.

He hoped to meet more interesting people today.

Qui-Gon stepped outsiide and turned his face up to the early morning sun, enjoying the feel of it on his face. He closed his eyes and just let himself be for a moment, his own Force signature blending effortlessly with that of all the living things around him. This place had such a different feel than Coruscant and Qui-Gon was finding he liked it.

Eyes still closed, he began running through one of his favourite meditative katas, the movments only serving to center him in this place and moment even more.

So much packing and unpacking today! after visiting his little sister and getting his and Chad's alcove set up, Teddy went to go sit out by the campfire and maybe meet his cabinmates.

He was currently reading one of his comics to pass the time. Had to get through all those new comics he got at that con over on the mainland.

Jude had ordered flowers for his mother and when he had called early that afternoon she had already gotten them and loved them. The rest of his cabin would have been treated to an hour of half a conversation in rapid-fire Polish, followed by Jude being a little mopey and homesick. So now he was chilling by the fire and trying not to miss his parents and the gang too much.

Abominable Snowman Campfire [evening]

Electricity might be a little over her head, sure. But if there was one thing Aravis knew how to do and do well, it was build a campfire.

So after fairly minimal effort, she'd put together a rather nice fire in front of her cabin, and brought a small leather-bound book outside with her with the intention of starting a letter home. She could write it, even if she wasn't sure how to send it.

Annette was searching for her kitty and sticks. Well, kitty first and then sticks.

She had a bag of marshmallows to roast and she brought Angel along with her as she went in search of a couple good sticks. And she had only set Angel down so she could play along, but in the next second, her kitty was gone.

In another moment or two Annette was going to start flailing. "Kitty kitty? Here kitty kitty kitty." Woe.

"Angel?" Annette needed her night vision goggles. Annette needed to be smacked. She should have never let her kitty play in the dark.

"Kitty kitty?"
