Dor had spent the night in the garden enjoying the trees that had been sent from his friends in Xanth.

So it wasn't until this morning that he was finally able to open the second vial that had been sent along with the package.

Much to his surprise, long rolls of poster board sprung out and flew around the dorm adhering themselves to the walls at random locations.

All of which read:

VOTE FOR DOR!
Junior Class Representative

Which is why you'll see Dor frantically trying to pull the poster off to no avail.

"Why won't you come off!" Dor whined as he tugged and tugged on the poster.

"We've got a stick'em spell," the poster replied. "We're not coming off until after the election."

"Why?" Dor replied. "I haven't even signed up!"

"You have now," the poster replied. "When you opened up the vial you also released a glitch which signed you up for student council elections. The King and your parents thought it would be a good experience for you."

Dor groaned. If it was just his parents he might be able to protest but if King Trent was also behind this... he really had no choice.

He was running for student council.

Ino was down in the gun range before Dojima-san this morning. Seeing no reason to wait, and besides, extra practice was always a good thing, she made sure her gun was in working order and then began her own target practice.

It felt good to shoot at things. Even if it was just targets on the range.

A part of her wondered if that ought to be something more like 'especially since it was just targets on the range'.

[Ino is here for Dojima, but the range is tooootally open for any Ino or shooting needs. ETA: That the girls talked about boys and guns is FB, everything else is NFB please.]

Especially after encountering Dor, Turtle realized that she had slacked off on this so inexcusably that part of her was feeling she should lose the election just because she had been so slow to the punch. She'd worry about finding that Toby fellow to revoke his remarks later, because, at the moment, a button proudly announcing her campaign, she went around the dorms, putting up her posters. They were clean, colorful posters, a medley of red, white, and blue, with great sparkling stars of glitter:

Vote T.R. Wexler
for Junior Representative

A vote Wexler is a vote for experience and determination.
The T.R. doesn't stand for 'tenacious' and 'revolutionary,' but they may as well!

Please take a pamphlet for more information about the Wexler for Representative campaign

There was an arrow on the posters pointing down to a small little paper basket built into each one, and each basket contained brochures listing all of Turtle's credentials and experience, among patriotic pictures of eagles and some gremlins to represent her love for the school. It also discussed some of her platforms, like funding for clubs, better cafeteria food (always an important one), and more events to create a deeper connection between the student and the townie populations. There was also a coupon on the back for 50% off any purchase at Turtle & Canary, some buttons for the taking, and some lollipops.

With each poster she put up, she drew in a breath and looked them over, with a faint smile of satisfaction for her work, faint under the heaviness of doubt and worry. She smoothed out the poster, made sure the basket would stay under the weight of the goodies inside of it, and told herself that she just had to keep positive and do her best, and everything would be fine.

She hoped.

[[ absolutely open! ]]

[[ETA: The posters now, thanks to Dor, will vocally encourage people to vote for Turtle when they pass by =D ]]

It had taken Harvey a little time but after some thought, some input from others and listening to Toby's broadcast last night, he knew just what to put on his campaign posters. After making a couple for each floor he started from the first floor and worked his way up, taping them to the walls.

He was also wearing a t-shirt just in case someone wanted proof that he did indeed look good shirtless.

Somehow he didn't think this tactic would be helpful in Gotham politics.

[Feel free to find him around the dorms. We'll just assume he and Turtle keep missing each other. I have to do it today because omg it's my birthday weekend coming up.

And, yes, you can ask him to take his shirt off]

Jeff would be lying if he said he wasn't just a little bit afraid of his girlfriend right now. Which was exactly why he'd parked himself in the common room, wearing his Vote T.R. Wexler for Sophomore Junior Class Representative t-shirt, supporting several flags calling out for much the same in his hair, and...

...eating from a very large bowl of crisps while trying to focus on the TV.

He really was kind of scared. If she lost, he'd... he didn't even want to think about it.

Maybe Myn was feeling adventurous, but he was trying to cook. The keyword was definitely trying, since he wasn't entirely sure how to use the equipment provided to him. There were eggs in a pan, cooking quicker than Myn had anticipated, and bits of shell all over the counter - and on the floor.

Flour was sitting open on the edge of the counter, as he had started an effort to make pancakes, but aborted the manuever after managing somehow to get more flour on himself instead of in the bowl.

Help would certainly not be turned away.
