After so many requests for pancakes from her own children yesterday morning, Sookie figured that might be a theme for the weekend. And when she woke up, and Henry wasn't gone, at least, she'd run out to get a few supplies before returning to the common room to see what she could put together. (Though, of course, Henry had insisted on coming with her once he realized she was Going to the Store and he might Get Stuff.)

It clearly just wasn't her own children she was worried about, here, Drake/di Glacia/Stackhouse appetites aside. Sookie had bought enough things to make breakfast for pretty much any kids (and parents) who showed up. She was setting to work on the pancakes, but in other pans she was busily scrambling eggs and frying up some bacon. She'd also made a point to buy orange and apple juice and milk both chocolate and white, because there was no way in hell she was letting more of those kids just drink coffee. She didn't care if it was for a weekend, it was just irresponsible.

[open common room! come have breakfast!]

After meeting Leander earlier in the day, Percy wasn't about to stick around his room and wait for more kids to find him. He'd herded Leander (and dragged Jason along with them since he was the other dad) down to the pool since any kid of his probably liked the water.

Once down there, he'd taken the time to call Luke and both invited him and told him to find Nico since it wasn't like Percy could snap a note up to Ethan's mother. Sure, neither Luke or Nico were big fans of the water but wasn't a pool supposed to be a good way to entertain kids so their parents could spend time beating their heads into the walls or something?"

Percy wasn't sure but being around the water relaxed him enough that he either thought he could deal with the horde of demigod kids or he could make Jason or Nico or Luke deal with it because he had the water as backup. One or the other.

[Percy's here for the two demigods, a Robin, and aaaaaaaaall their kids but the pool's open!]

When one considered the situation, and the fact that Malaxandra was clearly from a Crazy Future that Would Never Exist, one was able to take this whole thing in stride. Besides, he rather enjoyed the company of his fake half-vampire daughter, and he would always enjoy the company of his fake future councilor that fakely birthed her, and so they were doing the only thing such a family could do to spend time together and bond.

However, they barely got into the movie and into the tubs of ice cream before Alexander had to comment in a whispered tone to Maladicta, "Maybe we shouldn't have let her pick out the film..."

To be fair, who wouldn't have thought Rule of Flame showed promise?

[[ HERE. HAVE MORE OPEN COMMON ROOMS =D ]]

SOMEHOW Emma seemed to have found a large pile of snow beside the deck. Perhaps it had been pushed there by a plow, or created by a snow-fairy (or mutant). Either way, it was perfect for making snowmen, a fort, and/or a snowball fight.

"Right," Emma said, looking over her assorted charges. She'd make a quick handwavey trip to T&C to ensure everyone had appropriate cold-weather gear. "Remember, hats and coats stay on - I know it's warm, but it's not THAT warm - and no putting snow down another child's coat. I will place you in telepathic time-out if I catch you."

She brushed more snow off a chair on the deck, and threw a towel down before taking a seat. "Now go to it."

[OOC: OPEN SNOWPILE IS OPEN! ALL CHILDREN (AND PARENTS) WELCOME!]

Okay, Momoko remembered this from when she was a little girl! Making Valentine choco with her mom had been fun, so... she'd decided to do the same. Tomorrow was the real Valentines Day, after all!

So here she was with arms full of chocolate and moldings and lollipop sticks and, well, pretty much anything she could think they'd need. She and her two oldest daughters.

"Really, really we can help?" Sophia was elated as she bounced into the room after her mother, carrying even more candy molds that they'd handwavily picked out earlier in town.

"I thought we were grounded from the stove forever?" Elena looked excited as well, but wanted to remind her mom, just in case.

"Elenaaaaa!" Sophia's face fell and reached over to tug at her sister's pigtail. "Quit!"

"Ow! You quit it! You're not supposed to pull my hair! Momma says!"

"Momma says..." Momoko chuckled and set down her supplies before turning back to the both of them. "That you aren't going to be using the stove, I am. And if you're not good, you're totally not getting to help me make the chocolates or eat any." There were two tiny looks of dismay sent back at her at that and Momoko almost melted.

"We'll be good! Please please pleeeeeease let us help!"

"Promise! And I'm sorry for pulling Elena's hair! I didn't mean it, I just forgot!"

Momoko resisted the urge to cover her eyes with her hand: the girls totally had that same sad look Jaime got when he was upset; how did she ever get her own way in that house? "Okay, then!" she grinned at them and clapped her hands. "You two go ahead and open all the packages and spread out the pieces. I'll melt the chocolate and explain."

[open for interaction! They are making molded chocolates, along the lines of this. Simple stuffs and there's tons (it's Momoko, duh) so anyone can help make and eat!!]

There was no way even Chuck could manage to remain oblivious to a weekend like this. He loved kids, so entertaining his little maybe-future-niece for the day was kind of an awesome way to spend a Sunday.

Which did not mean he wasn't thanking every god he could think of that he didn't have to deal with the fact that somehow, somewhere, he had a kid with Morgan again. The thought still weirded him out a year on.

Being uncle Chuck to little Clara was a way easier way to spend a weekend.... Even if she had just squashed him flat with her Mario Kart.

"Oh hey, that is... cheating. Definitely. So much with the cheating." It wasn't.

[[It's a common room-y place, so open.]]

Effy was really starting to work out the reasoning behind the madness that was a massive ballpit in a high school. It was for shit like this weekend, wasn't it? It was for thoroughly exhausting a kid by repeatedly throwing her in and waiting for her to swim and scramble her way out again.

That was what she figured. It was just lucky Adele was tiny enough that it still worked. After what felt like a few fucking hundred times round, and now kind of achy arms, Effy was starting to wonder just how long it was going to take before the kid met sleeptime exhaustion.

From the non-stop chatter and bouncing of the five-year old in front of her she was guessing the answer was not yet. "Seriously?" The energy levels would not go down.

[[Yep, also completely open. I mean, c'mon, BALL PIT.]]
