"Hey, everyone," Annie began with a big smile. "We have a few ideas we wanted to tell you about, and hopefully it'll make everyone happy." Which was code for Maybe Rebecca will not complain this week.

“It seems completely impossible, but it’s been a month and we haven’t had a dance,” Rilla exclaimed. “So we’re going to change that--on Friday the 23rd, we’re going to have a--” she glanced at Annie, confirming the term, “--crush party?”

"Yes! Where as it was explained to me-" Not that she was going to say by who because sometimes Annie was bad. "-is that everyone gets five invitations to give to boys- or, girls, no judging- you want to come to the party. So you don't really need to ask anyone to come."

“Which is quite a relief,” Rilla said with a little smile, “as women in my time never do the asking. This is very...forward.”

"And some people are just too nervous to do anything like that. So you can just text them or slip the invitation under their door and don't worry about a thing!"

“If you’re very shy or think your crush might recognize your voice or handwriting, you can ask one of us here to call or place the invitation, too,” Rilla offered.

"There are a couple things we're going to need today, so we thought we could come up with a theme for the party, as a group," said Annie. "And then we can make up invitations and talk about which boys- or girls, again with the no judging- we want to invite!"

There were times when Dany well and truly hated the island. Today was one of those times. She'd risen late, and gotten dressed and brushed and braided her hair before she'd noticed he was missing. A search through her closet produced nothing, and he wasn't under her bed (or Petra's, as she'd peeked there too.) Drogon had somehow gotten out, and now she was in a blind panic looking for him.

Her search had led her out into the hall, then down into the common room, her silks fluttering as she hurried, and the other two dragons racing after her. She checked everywhere a small dragon might hide, but it wasn't until she heard the scratching in a high-up cabinet in the kitchen that she located him. It took the assistance of a chair, but once she opened the cabinet, she found Drogon, looking at her quizzically and confused.

While she had no idea how the island did this, she also was more willing to blame it rather than the dragon himself. He couldn't open doors, after all. She cuddled him close to her, sighing, and then peered into the cabinet to try and find some of those fruit-flavored hoops she liked.

[open common room is open. yes, she is still standing on a chair. method rp? where? also, SP after about 4:30 EDT]

There were a lot of things Rebecca could stand to lose. There was the obvious, of course (which she'd taken care of at age fourteen in the back of a limo), and her credit cards, and any number of her really expensive but ultimately replaceable clothes, especially if they were lost in the name of having a fun night.

However, none of those things were what Rebecca was missing on this particular evening. Nope.

Tonight, what she was missing was her dorm key. While she was already on the roof. And it was... really kinda cold. And she was pretty sure the squirrels were laughing at her.

"Well, shit," she grumbled.
