Cameron's door is open and he's sitting behind his desk, staring down at a paper which has doodles running across its surface. It seems some of the doodles have build seesaw out of a capital O and the line that used to be underneath the title. He knows there was something, some people he had to meet or talk to but he can't seem to remember. She's gone now, he's not sure where to but he wants to please her, do something to draw her attention to him.

Grissom sits in his office, preparing for his classes that evening. He's a bit tired, as he didn't get much sleep last night after Maia's prophecy, and still sore.

Angelus woke feeling an odd combination of dread and anticipation. In other words, it was a normal morning at Fandom High.

He got out of bed and dressed quickly, checking his voice mail and returning phone calls as he did. He had about a thousand things to do and nearly no time at all to do them in. He had a feeling his day was going to involve a lot of coffee and generous use of his supernatural skills. Normally he held off on using vamp speed unless he absolutely had to - using it all the time was pretentious and showy even for him - but sometimes it helped to cut down on the commute.

First stop: gym lockers. If the latest scheme had any chance of working, it would require public distance between him and Bel's campaign. On the other hand, Bel was his boyfriend BFF, and there was no way Angelus was going to leave him twisting in the wind.

Angelus carefully shouldered the bulky mass of his duffel bag. He listened at his dorm room door to get a feel for how many students were outside, then timed his exit for a moment when he had not full privacy, but as much as you could get in a school hallway on a class day.

Moving quick, but not so quick that it would attract attention, Angelus made his way to the gym and then to the lockers. He located the locker that he'd rented from Principal Connor the day before and jerked it open. He checked it to make sure it was empty, then placed the duffel bag inside.

He unzipped the bag, double checked the contents, rezipped the bag, and closed the locker.

He pulled a padlock out of his coat pocket and snapped it closed on the locker door. He spun the four numbered dials so that they all read O, checked to make sure that he was alone, then wandered his way out of the locker room in a much more casual manner than before.

He may or may not have been successful at making sure nobody saw him. After all, he did have a lot on his mind.

Girls:

I've contacted Dierdre at Amber House about us moving in. She's very agreeable and isn't going to charge us rent. She's ask that we donate time or money occasionally to a soup kitchen or some such. She's incredibly nice and the place is awesome. I trust Dierdre implicitly.

I've contacted ResAffairs to see about what needs to be done. I've not done anything that is irreversible, so there is still time to back out if you want. I hope you won't. I think this could be just what all of us need to breathe a little freer.

Please be very discreet in responding to this. After last night, I'm certain Parker is watching my every move and will use anything she can get against me. I'm doing the same with her.

I'll update you by e-mail.

B.

[OOC: There is no encryption on the email Beka sends to her girls. This is intentional. She has future-comp-tech, but isn't an adept. So she uses it very sparingly, and when she does, someone like Broots could almost certainly break in with enough time, despite the advancement. Playing her as not advanced in comp-tech is mostly because 3500 years worth of tech development would make it too hard to get to her. If a Harper arrives at next enrollment, however, all bets will be off. Or a Rhade. ;)]

Student Council Elections are days away

Feel like you don't know the candidates?

Feel like the candidates don't know you?

Come join the planning of an event for students and candidates to truly meet and greet one another.

Candidates: Make yourself heard! (Write-ins: Get the stage you're not getting at tonight's debate!)

Students: Ask the tough questions! Demand that anyone running for Student Council prove themselves to you!

This is a non-partisan event sponsored by a new student club whose only goal is to make sure all students at Fandom High are respected and valued.

Interested? Stop by Professor Drusilla's classroom anytime today.

If there's a cat sitting there watching him, Jack definitely does not notice.

Wandering aimlessly

Rogue is wandering the halls of the dormitory aimlessly, trying to find something to do before she drives herself crazy.

"Where is everyone?"

[[OOC: Play with me!]]
[identity profile] valentine-tart.livejournal.com
After a meeting in the bar the previous evening, and a chance encounter in Journalism, Beka and Phoebe have teamed up to run as a new slate.

They are talking to anyone who passes by and handing out impromptu flyers (until Maia shows up with posters and better ones).

Fuck the Tickets: Vote Phoebe and Beka!

Make a choice based on knowledge--not emotion and not fear!

Vote for effective networking, communication, and cross-clique trust!

A vote for Phoebe and Beka is a vote for a better school.

While they talk to people, they are looking for similarly minded candidates who are interested in encouraging open communication, compassionate interaction, a lessening of fear, and who are willing to be available 24/7 to the student body to assist in dealing with any problems that might arise.

They are also animatedly encouraging people to attend not only tonight's debates but the non-partisan, open forum discussion where write-in candidates will debate at the Echoll's house on Thursday.
[identity profile] dorky-broots.livejournal.com
Broots sat in his room, fiddling with some wires in the broken speaker. He had both the door and window open, in case he set something on fire again and had to get out fast. He figured that anyone who tried to hurt him in his own room he could probably electorcute with the open wires. Hopefully. If they weren't resistent to electricity. Or something.

He clicked a few more wires together....

BOOM!

((title, courtesy Crichton-Mun in chat ;-)))

She'd been too hurt, too shocked at Cam's complete dismissal of her for another girl to even think about the weirdness that went on around this place.

But after a talk with Crichton about Janet's new attitude at the coffeeshop...

She couldn't believe it, but it all made a hideous sort of sense. The royal "we", the bitch-queen complex, and all the men trailing after her like they'd been drugged. If they had gremlins and werewolves and zombies, she muttered under her breath, heading for the library, why not Go'uld as well? Somehow, one had infiltrated the SG crew and got into Janet.

Not finding Janet in the library, she cursed. Then she cursed more viciously in several alien languages she'd picked up. Of course, She'd be at the dorms, with all her minions, her Jaffa-in-training. Like Cam, she thought, fighting the urge to throw up.

And she'd just sent John back in there alone.

Running back to the dorms and up to the second floor, she decided to give up on subtlety. She just had to know.

"Janet! Dammit, whoever you are, come out and show yourself you coward!"

((ooc: after John gets whumped, and slow-played for Janet-mun's sanity! ;-)
((ETA, despite her pissed off icon, Thumper has no gun on her at the moment. I know, she's not thinking quite straight....)

In the Common Room

George is in the Common Room, sprawled on the sofa in front of the big screen television. There's a tumbler filled with ice and a colorless liquid cradled in her lap, and a half-full bottle of Grey Goose vodka on the floor between her feet. She's not really watching the screen so much as staring moodily off into space.

((OOC: If anyone cares to get smashed with or interact with George, feel free! She'll be around all night.))

After getting Lee's weird voicemail message, Veronica decides to swing by his dorm room and find out what's going on.

She knocks on his door.

"Lee, it's Veronica. Are you in there?"
[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com
A sign is posted on the door, which is unlocked. It says:

Please stop by in support of Janet (unless you're a male who's been within sniffing distance of Janet since Sunday, excepting Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson).

Parker is leaning out the window of the second floor common room, smoking.

She is not happy. This is pretty obvious to anyone who looks. Campaign. Fraiser mess. Life, the universe, anything....

It's starting to rain.
