Blair was too excited about new students, being a big brother and the fact that he was a virgin again to get a lot of sleep so he had been sitting in front of the tv in his room for several hours. There were lots of infomercials on late at night. As it got closer to morning, Blair was afraid of disturbing Broots and his fish with noise if he turned the tv up louder so he headed out to the common room to watch CNN.

Ooh! One last airing of the Pasta Express infomercial. It was no George Foreman 13 in 1 Rotisserie Bonanza, but Blair admired the simplicity of it's design. Like the fact that it was just a plastic tube with a lid.

[so incredibly open]

Molly had promised Zuko a demonstration of her strength yesterday. So, she had stopped by his room at the agreed upon time in order to show him the way to the gym.

Walking into the gym, she was glad to see it was still empty. "Good. No one else is here yet." She turned to Zuko. "This is the gym. People come here to work out and exercise and practice sports and stuff."

[[OOC: The gym is open!]]

JD was sitting on the floor in the 5th floor common room, wearing a pair of lime green pajama bottoms with little blue puppies on them and a white wife beater tank top. Crossed legged in front of the TV, he is watching cartoons and tossing a small bouncy ball repeatedly against the wall.

((OOC: Open to all, there are more bouncy balls to be had.))

Lavender shyly walked into the common room and found herself a seat. She sat there idly flipping through a copy of Witch Weekly and looking around for some fellow students.

[OOC: open to anyone and everyone]

Without daily classes to occupy their time, the twins wound up being extremely restless after a late morning wake-up. Looking for SOMETHING to do that doesn't involve too much extra walking (for they feel they have no purpose to go to town), they stroll around outside the dorms, perhaps looking for trouble.

((ooc: slow play for now, open to all))

Still in an absurdly good mood, Dean was in the kitchen cooking. Nothing fancy, just some rice krispie treat, but he figured he wouldn't have any problems finding people to eat it.

Dean took a bite himself. And if he did, well all the more for himself, wasn't it?

[ooc: open now with more marshmallowy goodness!]

Posters have been ... well, posted, reading:

First Aid Workshop

When disaster calls, you can answer.

Recommended for all new students.

1 p.m., Danger Shop

[OOC: A quick way to get your character up-to-date in the First Aid techniques that are so necessary in Fandom. Post will go up late tonight for SP throughout the day tomorrow. If you want to go but don't have a new kid ... it's not like they'll be checking ID at the door.]

Sir Didymus had handwavily made it to Fandom. He wouldn't admit it, but he was lost. He had left Ambrosius, his noble steed (read: dog), again with the handwavily with Sarah until he was sure that he could have him there.

This was all new to him, and he was overwhelmed. The hallways seemed long, and without Ambrosius there to carry him, it was taking Didymus longer to find his way through them.

But it was a challenge nonetheless, and Didymus never turned down a challenge without a fight.

[OOC: cue Big sibling entry here? lol]

Coffee was necessary for the night. It kept their headaches away and kept them hyped when everything else seemed to be getting dull. Even a boring sitcom could turn into a laugh-fit if it was late enough and there was enough coffee.
The common room seemed to be the perfect place to enjoy such simplicities.

((ooc: Come join some coffee-induced giggle-fits.))
