intraspective: (Get a load of this!)

Ino was… was going to do something drastic if she didn't stop singing soon. As it was she was up on the roof in the hopes that no one else would hear her. On the other hand… if people heard her… that'd shut her up, right?

She sighed, thumped her head lightly against the notebook she'd brought up with her, and…

"Whenever I see someone less fortunate than I
And let's face it - who isn't less fortunate than I?
My tender heart tends to start to bleed

And when someone needs a makeover
I simply have to take over
I know, I know exactly what they need
And even in your case
Though it's the toughest case I've yet to face
Don't worry, I'm determined to succeed
Follow my lead, and yes, indeed
You will be...

Popular! You're gonna be popular!"

Well. Stabbing herself to shut herself up was certainly gaining popularity right about now.

[I couldn't resist. Totally open as a roof is!]

A groggy, not-quite-awake Sokka sat in the common room watching TV and eating snacks. Momo Jr. was curled up asleep in his lap, and the day was looking pretty good so far. His shoes were back to normal, and all was right with the world. He gave Momo Jr. lazy contented head-skritches, and sighed happily.

He was so full of love for the fuzzy little guy that it just bubbled up and burst forth in... Well, you could call it song, technically. If there was a tune there, it wasn't one anyone would recognize because the mun was making it up as he went along.

It's only NWS if you've got a dirty mind )

[Open like a common room]

Sokka sat on the edge of the roof, dangling his feet in the air. He didn't normally come up here, but today it seemed... appropriate.

And he swayed back and forth as a light, tinkling piano played in the background.

And then he put on a show )

Sokka came back to himself, realized what he was doing, and nearly fell off the roof in terror as he scrambled away from the edge. And then terror gave way to total embarrassment when he realized what he'd been singing.

[Open like an open thing. Feel free to notice the show from the ground, too.]

Someone was experimenting.

After today, after everything today, he'd decided that he needed chocolate. But not just chocolate. Spiced chocolate. And not just spiced chocolate. But spiced chocolate with a touch of coffee for bitterness and a little bit of vanilla to balance it and warm gooey--

Let it be put this way: aside from making up a light rice and vegetable dish for dinner, he's also whipped up two trays worth of brownies, rather modified from the original recipe in one of the cook books he'd gotten.

Meanwhile, the bunny guarded Liir's bag and his tome-o-magical-learning from his spot on the far side of the counter. Liir thanked him with scritches and a kiss or two whenever he could step away from the stove, as well as cilantro and carrots so... life wasn't half bunny bad for anyone today.

[open as common rooms are and mmmm chocolate]

Karal was grazing. Which wasn't quite as weird as it sounded, given he was a horse at the moment.

It wasn't anywhere near as bad as he'd expected it to be, as long as he didn't think about it. If he did, well, then it wasn't good. Sunlord, please let me return to myself soon.

:KARAL, WHAT DID YOU DO?!: Altra appeared out of nowhere, startling Karal into shying and rearing...and almost falling over, because he hadn't quite mastered that yet.

I turned into a horse.

:Well, don't.:

Karal snorted. This was beyond my choice, Altra. Fandom Weirdness moves to its own will.

The 'cat just groaned and closed his eyes.

[ooc: the horse and the cat are awaiting someone specific, though they don't know it yet, but the post is open before that for all your loose horse needs.]

Now that Sky had sung his little duet with Troy, he kept bursting into random snatches of song. Which was not good, considering the type of songs he was singing. )

Sky could, he supposed, take comfort in the fact that he wasn't in his human body and thus didn't attract as much attention. Not much, but some. He tried the same trick he did at Pizza Planet, blending in with the ceiling lights, but of course, his redness made him stick out a little. And he could not stop singing.

[Open, as a common area is.]
