Gladys was making sandwiches. She'd read somewhere that food was a good way to welcome new people. The island had new people, and so they should be welcomed.

Golem logic. Golem sandwiches, on the other hand...

She had two loaves of bread and a ham, which she assembled -- bread, ham, bread. Then with one huge and heavy shovel-like hand, she pressed down, flattening it. Her sandwich was several feet square, and about an inch thick, and she began slicing it into squares.

Perhaps it might not be quite as welcoming as she intended.

[ooc: And the sandwiches are actually canon]

Savannah headed to the gym after workshops were over to set up for cheerleading practice. She was definitely in a better mood than she was last time and was bouncing around as she made sure things were in place.

She dragged out the practice mats and set up the tables for snacks and the sign in sheet. Once everything was in its place, she turned on the music and began warming up as she waited for the rest of the squad.

Being back in the dorms after a week of babysitting at the house, Dean wasn't feeling like staying in his room. So here he was in the common room, with freshly popped popcorn and soda and a tv with bad gameshows on it.

There were worse ways to spend an evening.

[ooc: open like an open thing as common rooms are wont to be]

Since it wasn't a party without guests, Blair went around the dorms to hang up posters which read:

COLD AS ICE PARTY
FRIDAY, JULY 11, AFTER SUNSET
DRESS WARM BUT LOOK COOL

It was a shame she didn't know all of the students well enough to give more specific invitations and thus avoid the losers, but she figured the VIP area would make up for that. Which reminded her that she needed to track down John.

But first, hanging the posters up.

God she missed having a freshman to do this for her.

[ooc: establishy, yet open if you wish to react to the posters or chat with Blair while she's hanging 'em]

Ichigo was in fact not doing much of anything. He couldn't quite remember when the last time was that he wasn't busy doing something. His first class was tomorrow, he'd pretty much explored the dorms, the school and town and now that the weather was nice, he'd planted his ass down on the grass.

The far off look he had was all about his contemplating what would happen if he took a skateboard down Apocalypse Avenue - who named these streets anyway? - and nothing with far off voices in the back of his head. Okay, one voice, but it was moot as he wasn't thinking of that.

[[Open, of course. BearOk if they come up to the dorms.]]

There was a polar bear watching TV in the common room. This polar bear did not have any soda with him, however, he did have a remote control.

[Open like CR's are.]

After cheer practice, John didn't go far from the gym, knowing he was due to meet up with Dawn.

While he waited, he got out gloves and head gear for both of them. Even if she was smaller than him, safety was key to this sort of sparring. He wouldn't want to hurt her and end up with a dozen Winchesters after him, after all.

'Course, if she kicked his ass, he was going to have so much explaining to do.

[For the green girl primarily, but open to all]
