Wandering Announcement Man!
Friday, September 30th, 2005 11:01 amKawalsky is wandering the halls again wearing a big sandwich board. He's doing his usual thing, which means 10-15 minutes on each floor from the ground floor all the way up to the attics. This time the board says:
Shep, find your own date.
Beka's going with O'Neill.
On the back, in smaller print beneath the message it says "Kawalsky's Announcement Service. For when you want your message seen. Call Kawalsky in room 239/240 for details/prices."

It's morning. Beka's alone. It seems like the first time in days. [OOC: props to Shep-mun because if I hadn't said it Shep-mun would've found some way to. *wink*] Not that she's complaining. She grins. Today could be a very good day.
If only Alanna would hurry the hell up.

::When she thinks no one is around, she quickly pops the can open, and quickly begins to finger-paint all over poor Lee Adama's door::
::When she is finished, she has bright pink paint splattered on her clothes, hands, face, and hair. But she smiles at her handiwork, seals the paint back up, and whistles on her way back to her room to clean up::

Friday Night, Common Room
Friday, September 30th, 2005 09:05 pmSam walked down the hall towards Jack's room--other than a brief conversation in Classics, they hadn't spoken to each other since she got back. The door was closed and there was note. Since she had no interest in talking to him over the radio, she climbed the stairs to her room and retrieved her Hebrew homework from Classics class so she could catch up, then took a seat in the common room very carefully avoiding the couch, which looked a bit more mangled than it had the last time she saw it.
Room 239/240 (Locked to Janet & John Crichton)
Friday, September 30th, 2005 10:57 pmJanet was sprawled out on her bed, notes scattered across the floor and the bed, index cards tacked up on a recently hung corkboard, and she was scribbling furiously in the same notebook she had at study hall. Her genetics books were scattered across the room, bookmarks and post-it notes filling them.
Somebody has taken control of the PA
Friday, September 30th, 2005 11:13 pmOn the Maru - Beka and Anakin - locked
Friday, September 30th, 2005 11:37 pmBeka found herself in an incredibly buoyant mood as she and Anakin hurried across campus out to where the Maru waited for them. Not only was she getting the hell off this rock, but she got to go with someone else who loved to fly, and, probably best of all, didn't care what anyone else might think about them being out together.
Her meeting with Anakin had been sheer chance. Just a lonely wander through the dorms after Shep's doctored flyer and her meetings with the Doctor and special mission for Janet that led her into a hall she rarely had reason to enter, and a friendly conversation with someone she'd grown to respect.
And now they were going flying! Tomorrow Shep would spread the word that she and Anakin had been screwing or whatever, but it wouldn't be true, and Anakin wouldn't care and neither would she.
"Hurry up, Anakin! Time moves faster out there but we still need to be back tomorrow," she barked orders like a captain, but she was grinning ear to ear.
